Punjabi International Film Academy Award ( PIFAA ) – Toronto 2012 will be a four day extravaganza presenting the best feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world on themes of Punjabi culture and identity.
In addition, the festival will feature concerts, gala events, film parties, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities with government representatives, business leaders, local organizations that support filmdevelopment, film stars, producers, directors, members of the media and more.
Toronto will host the first ever Punjabi International Film Academy Award ( PIFAA) in August 2012 to be organized by leading South Asian media company’ Parvasi Media Group’. To formally launch a series of events that will culminate in the final event on August 4, 2012 in Air Canada Centre, Toronto.
Dharmendra has agreed to be the Brand Ambassador of PIFAA. He will be coming to Toronto along with Om Puri, Jimmy Shergill and other leading Punjabi film personalities in the 2nd week of April 2012 to share the plans of PIFAA.
